Ipswich’s older suburbs carry a lot of history, and that shapes the tiling work we do there. Around the city centre and in suburbs like Booval and Raceview, we regularly work on timber worker’s cottages and early-1900s homes, where bathroom and kitchen renovations often mean carefully working within original floor plans and replacing waterproofing that predates modern standards by decades. In Brassall, we see a similar mix of older homes alongside more recent infill development, with floor and wall tiling among the most requested jobs.

Closer to the Brisbane River, in Karalee and Yamanto, established family homes from the 90s and 2000s are common, and we do steady work on kitchen and bathroom updates as these homes reach an age where original tiling needs replacing. It’s a different story again in Redbank Plains, and further out in the Ripley and Springfield growth corridors — among the largest master-planned development areas in Australia. Here, our work is almost entirely new-build finishing: ensuites, kitchens, splashbacks and outdoor tiling completed at pace as thousands of new homes continue to be built across these estates.
