Redcliffe’s suburbs each have their own character, and it shows in the tiling work we do across the peninsula. In Scarborough and Woody Point, overlooking the bay, we regularly work on older beachside homes and units being renovated, where bathroom and kitchen retiles often go hand in hand with updated waterproofing that hasn’t kept pace with the property’s age. Around Margate, closer to the Redcliffe Jetty and esplanade, we see a similar mix of established homes alongside a growing number of unit and townhouse renovations.

In Clontarf, tiling work often centres on family homes a little further back from the immediate waterfront, with kitchen and floor tiling among the most common requests. Newport, one of the peninsula’s newer canal-estate developments, is a different story again — new-build finishing, feature wall tiling and outdoor tiling around canal-front entertaining areas make up a large share of the work we do there. Further inland, in Kippa-Ring and Rothwell, we see more standard suburban renovation work and a reasonable amount of commercial tiling tied to the area’s retail and transport hub around the Kippa-Ring train station.
